Our understanding of cement processes, combined with our knowledge of industrial and waste fuel combustion has developed into a leadership position in the areas of cement kiln dust (CKD) management, air quality programs, quarry and surface water management, auditing and regulatory strategy. We also provide services regarding air and fugitive emissions, waste fuel combustion and BIF regulations, CKD management, surface water quality, groundwater, and environmental, health and safety management.

Through continued research and dedication, RMT understands the unique characteristics of CKD and has developed sampling and testing methods that more accurately represent leaching characteristics in the field. RMT also has helped develop methods of conditioning and placing dust to achieve a high-density solid with low hydraulic conductivity and leachability.
