| RMT has successfully used natural attentuation and biodegradation on various groundwater contamination sites across the United States and Mexico. Our clients have realized cost savings in the millions of dollars when compared to conventional cleanup methods. RMT investigates and quantifies the effectiveness of natural attenuation processes in soil and groundwater. Technical findings of each investigation are integrated with environmental compliance requirements to identify a corrective action plan that takes advantage of natural processes. Presentations to regulatory agencies have been highly successful and, in most cases, have resulted in corrective action costs that are dramatically less than traditional methods.
RMT has over twelve years of experience in the development and design of biotechnology for the remediation of contaminated soil, water, and subsurface environments. Project experience includes on-site soil and land farm treatment of hydrocarbon waste, intrinsic and engineered in-situ remediation of soil and groundwater, remediation of sludge pond residues, and emergency response and long-term remediation strategies for operational and catastrophic crude oil spills.
